Ceremony is one part of the path. Integration is the time you take to reflect on an experience, consider what matters to you and carry that understanding into everyday life.
At AyaWaken Church, integration is part of the support around our prayer-led ceremony weekends near Dallas, Texas. You can make space for reflection without rushing to reach a conclusion or make a major change.
Integration during and after your weekend
We hold integration after each ceremony. Maria Lopez of The Soul’s Nurse, an independent integration specialist, supports participants with us.
She leads our Saturday workshop and hosts a follow-up call about one week after the retreat. It’s a time to reflect and ask questions as you return to daily life.
The after-ceremony integration, Saturday workshop and follow-up call are part of the retreat support. Confirm the workshop and follow-up call arrangements for your chosen weekend before booking.
Reflection in daily life
Integration can include journaling, prayer, quiet reflection and paying attention to your relationships, priorities and routines. Each person brings a different history and may understand their experience in a different way.
You might ask yourself:
- What stands out to me when I reflect on the weekend?
- What feels meaningful, and what remains unclear?
- What small, practical step would help me live with more care and intention?
- What support would help me continue reflecting?
These questions are invitations to reflection, not a checklist you must complete or a promise of a particular result.
Additional preparation and integration with Maria
Maria also offers preparation support, free monthly integration meetings and options for a longer integration program through The Soul’s Nurse. These are independent offerings, separate from the retreat workshop and follow-up call and from AyaWaken’s planned membership circles.

Stay connected after ceremony
After sitting with AyaWaken, every participant will be invited to our Facebook and WhatsApp groups to stay connected with the community.
Monthly integration for past participants
We will also hold a monthly integration meeting for anyone who has sat with AyaWaken. Mark will lead the gathering, with Maria Lopez taking part. No paid membership is required.
This gathering offers a place to reconnect, reflect and continue the conversation after your retreat. Contact our team for meeting dates and details on joining the groups.
A smaller circle for members
Our planned monthly members-only integration circle will offer a smaller, more intimate setting for deeper discussion and shared integration practices.
These meetings will create space to explore topics in more depth and put reflection into practice in everyday life.
AyaWaken membership opens January 1, 2027, with member content releases beginning then. The members-only circle is an additional offering alongside the monthly gathering for past participants.
