A church setting
Ceremony is held as a sacrament and spiritual practice within AyaWaken Church.
Our approach
A church community centered on prayer, careful preparation and ongoing support.
Why we began
We started AyaWaken to bridge the Amazon and the United States. Our mission is a community where people connect with the divine, reconnect with Mother Earth and remember their true nature.
Our ceremony weekends near Dallas, Texas, are one part of that community. Read about preparation and screening or integration support.
Our ministry
Mark leads every weekend. He trained through apprenticeship with Shipibo teachers in Peru and continues to study with them. Meet his teachers.
Chloe co-leads the ministry. Her path grew from her own experience, reflection and care for the church community. Read their story.
People of every background are welcome. Gatherings begin in prayer and sacred song, with room for silence, music and reflection.

Everyone completes an intake. We consider health history and medications before confirming participation.
We keep our gatherings personal, with room for individual attention and connection.
A quiet, carefully guided space, so you can focus on prayer and your own process.
Integration after each ceremony, a Saturday workshop and a follow-up call one week later.
