Understand AyaWaken’s participant screening, health-information review, preparation expectations and questions to ask before attending ceremony.
AyaWaken reviews each participant’s intake before confirming attendance. This page explains our review process and the information we ask you to share. It does not determine whether ceremony is medically appropriate for you.
Share complete, current information
Your intake asks about physical and mental health history, medications and your intentions for ceremony. Answer carefully and let us know about changes before attending. Do not treat an automated message or a completed form as medical clearance.
Individual review and next steps
Our team may ask follow-up questions, arrange a conversation or request professional clearance. Participation is not suitable for everyone and is subject to individual review. Screening cannot guarantee safety or a particular outcome.
Questions about medications or health
Please take health and medication questions to a qualified healthcare professional. Share anything relevant with us in your intake. This website can’t give you personal medication advice.
Don’t stop or change any prescribed medication without talking to the doctor who prescribed it.
Before reserving your place
- Complete the intake before booking.
- Ask who will be present and what support is available.
- Understand the preparation and arrival instructions.
- Ask how staff respond if someone needs additional assistance.
- Review the attendance option, cancellation policy and follow-up arrangements.
Our ceremonial setting
AyaWaken gatherings are held in prayer, in small groups, with preparation and integration support. Ceremonies are religious observances and spiritual practice, not medical treatment. We do not promise a cure, a specific experience or a particular result.

Ceremony support: common questions
How many people attend, and who is present?
Our ceremony weekends welcome a maximum of 15 participants. Mark, Chloe and one team member are present during ceremony. Our team members are CPR certified.
What happens if someone needs urgent medical care?
We contact emergency services for an ambulance if urgent medical care is needed.
